  Holy Communion at Epiphany

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead;
On the third day he rose again:
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated on teh right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

"Every single one of us has to come to a point in our lives where either this paradox of the faith is something we embrace, that Jesus is God, fully God and fully human or not. I had to do that just like everybody else. Either you buy this or you don,t; and that's the deal, its either, or...it had to be owned as mine...That' s what the cross means, that God has come to us in Christ and is willing to walk with us all the way, all the way in everything."
Rev . Stephen P. Gerhard

"The peace of God which passes all understanding keep our hearts and minds together in Christ Jesus our Lord."
NIV Phillipians 4:7
